Lazio will open talks with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic today.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti will start discussions with the German club over the 28-year-old Serbian winger later today, with the player also a target of Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.

Kostic can play as both a winger or as a wide midfielder and so would be perfect for Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system. The Roman club’s priority this summer is signing wingers and Kostic is one of their top options.

Eintracht Frankfurt have already identified their replacement for Kostic, 24-year-old Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica.

Over the coming days then, it will become clear whether Lazio are seriously interested in signing Kostic or not.

The 28-year-old Serbian, who is contracted to the Bundesliga club until 2023, made 30 league appearances this season, for a total of 2536 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided 17 assists.
