Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic is now the latest name being linked with a possible move to Lazio.

According to a report from Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Kostic is a “serious” target for Lazio club officials ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report adds that Eintracht Frankfurt may “need” to sell Kostic this summer, especially as there is some uncertainty among club officials over whether they will be able to extend his current deal that is set to expire in two years.

Lazio is expected to meet with Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche in the coming days to further discuss the possibility of signing the Serbian playmaker.

All options are on the table for Lazio in its aim to acquire Kostic, as club officials could either outright sign him on a permanent transfer deal or bring him in on loan for next season with a purchase option included in such a deal.

Lazio could very well end up completing this transfer deal over the next week.
