Italy will be playing for a little over 30 minutes up one man following the direct red card to Chelsea FC and Wales defender Ethan Ampadu.
The 20-year-old went in to try and dispossess the ball from Juventus forward Federico Bernardeschi. However, the young central defender’s cleats would step on the ankles of Bernardeschi, and the referee decided that it wasn’t a yellow card but a straight red.
Wales will now try to look for the tie down one man while Italy will look for the second goal playing with the one man advantage.
