New Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is the perfect replacement for previous incumbent Simone Inzaghi.

As discussed in The Laziali’s exclusive interview with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 62-year-old Italian is a fantastic manager and a great choice for the Biancocelesti, who needed to replace Inzaghi after the 45-year-old changed his mind and decided to accept Inter’s offer.

Sarri is the perfect replacement for Inzaghi, being almost completely different from the new Nerazzurri coach. His arrival also brings something fresh to the Lazio environment, something that is very important as the team looks to embark on a new project with the former Napoli, Chelsea and Juventus coach.

Sarri’s playstyle is fast and exciting, and the 62-year-old Italian was happy with the squad upon his arrival, suggesting that it won’t be a long wait to see his famous Sarrismo in the Italian capital.

The 62-year-old Italian was most recently in charge of Juventus, departing last summer after only a year in Turin.
