Lazio have submitted an offer to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for Serbian winger Filip Kostic.
As reported by Italian journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter earlier today, the Biancocelesti have reportedly submitted a loan offer worth €3 million to the German club with a possible obligation to buy attached, worth €20 million, linked to achieving a top-four finish and qualification to the Champions League.
Lazio are incredibly keen on the 28-year-old Kostic, who is contracted to Eintracht Frankfurt until 2023. They believe that the Serbian is a great option that fits new coach Maurizio Sarri’s tactical system.
Talks are still ongoing between the two clubs but developments are expected over the coming weeks.
The 28-year-old Kostic made 30 Bundesliga appearances this season for Eintracht Frankfurt, for a total of 2536 minutes.
In that time, he scored four goals and provided 14 assists, averaging 4.26 shot-creating actions per 90 minutes. The Serbian had the second-most assists in the league, just behind Bayern Munich’s Thomas Müller.
