Lazio’s top priority for the upcoming summer transfer window is to sign established wingers.
Lazio currently does not have a single player on its roster that has a multitude of experience in playing as a winger, which is a current concern for new manager Maurizio Sarri.
Biancocelesti officials are now being linked with Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini, according to a report from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
For the moment, Lazio is merely interested in jumpstarting transfer talks with Bologna for its coveted young winger.
The Rome-based side may have to act quickly on this possible transfer, as the report adds that Torino is also interested in the Italian winger.
Orsolini once again emerged as one of Bologna’s top goal contributors over the recent campaign; he recorded nine goals in all competitions this past season.
The 23-year-old winger is currently tied to a contract with Bologna for three more seasons.
Orsolini may be viewed by Lazio club officials as a Plan B in the case that they fail to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Filip Kostic, as they currently are in serious talks to sign the Serbian playmaker.
