Lazio, Inter & Atalanta All Interested in Sampdoria Goalkeeper Emil Audero

Lazio have identified Sampdoria’s Emil Audero as a possible replacement for Thomas Strakosha, with Inter and Atalanta also keen.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Secolo XIX (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Albanian shot-stopper seems to be one of the most likely players to leave the Biancocelesti this summer, with a difficult season behind him and a contract expiring next year in 2022.

Inter and Atalanta are also interested in Audero, looking for replacements for Samir Handanovic and Pierluigi Gollini respectively.

The 24-year-old Audero, who is contracted to Sampdoria until 2026, made 37 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 3330 minutes. In that time, he conceded 54 goals and kept six clean sheets, saving 71.5% of the shots he faced this campaign. He also saved two penalty kicks and completed 69.6% of his passes.
