Lazio President Lotito Doesn’t Want to Sell Lazzari to Simone Inzaghi’s Inter

Lazio president Claudio Lotito would rather sell Manuel Lazzari to anyone else other than Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.

As reported by Italian newspaper Libero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Nerazzurri are keen to acquire the 27-year-old Italian wing back, believing him to be the perfect replacement for the outgoing Achraf Hakimi, who seems destined to join Paris-Saint Germain this summer.

President Claudio Lotito is not keen on selling Lazzari to Inter, however. The Italian businessman feels betrayed by Inzaghi and the nature of his departure from the club at the start of this month, and so would rather sell him to another club in order to deprive the 45-year-old Italian coach of his target.

The report also suggests that there is no evidence of any agreement between Lazio and Inter regarding the figures of a possible deal – recent rumours have suggested that the deal can be closed for €22 million plus €4 million in add-ons.
