Lazio striker Ciro Immobile was included in BBC Sport readers’ Euro 2020 Team of the Group Stage.

As reported by British news outlet BBC Sport, readers of the website were encouraged to rate every player out of 10 throughout all of the Euro 2020 group stage matches so far, with the responses all being collected to find the fans’ Team of the Group stage.

The 11 players all featured for at least 60 minutes in two of their respective nations’ three group stage matches, meaning the players were considered to have played an important role in their teams’ results.

Three Italians made the cut, including Biancocelesti star Ciro Immobile, who averaged a rating of 7.74. The other two Italians were Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli (7.8) and Roma’s Leonardo Spinazzola (7.77).

The player with the highest rating average in the squad was Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne (8.36). Juventus and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo did not make the team, averaging a rating of only 7.2.
