Reggina Accelerating in Quest to Sign Lazio Owned Winger Emanuele Cicerelli

Serie B side Reggina are serious in their quest to sign Lazio-owned winger Emanuele Cicerelli.

As reported by Italian broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Calabrian side’s sporting director Massimo Taibi has intensified talks with Lazio’s management for the 26-year-old Italian winger, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2023.

Cicerelli was one of the key players in Salernitana’s push for promotion this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in 29 Serie B appearances this campaign.

Lazio are considering various options, with Parma also interested in the 26-year-old Italian, and he could also stay in Salerno still.

Developments will come over the coming weeks, with Lazio wanting to find the right home for the Italian winger.

The 26-year-old Cicerelli was signed by Lazio in the January transfer window of last year, having joined Salernitana in 2018 from Paganese. He has never played in Serie A, but could still be part of the Salernitana squad next season.
