However, fans of the Italy national team all held their breath when Marko Arnautović scored to grab the lead for Austria. Nonetheless, the Video Assistant Referee would review the goal and label it offside.
The VAR call caused many Italians to exhale a sigh of relief as it would’ve caused mass panic for the remainder of the fixture.
