There was a moment where Austria thought there were taking the lead following a goal from Marko Arnautović. However, the Video Assistant Referee would wipe out that, and it would head into extra time.

In the added 30 minutes, Italy would score two goals to punch their ticket to the UEFA Euro 2020 QuarterFinals.
