As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, talks have been ongoing between PSG and the Biancocelesti regarding the Argentinian forward for some time now, with the Roman club happy to sell the player this summer in order to fund their other transfer targets.
Contracted to Lazio until 2024, Correa has suffered a little from the arrival of coach Maurizio Sarri, as he doesn’t easily fit in the Italian coach’s 4-3-3 system.
The Argentinian forward made 28 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 1945 minutes. In that time, he scored eight goals and provided four assists. Correa was also decisive in the Champions League, scoring three goals and providing two assists in eight matches.
