Lazio Offer Parma €8m Plus Add-Ons for Romanian Winger Valentin Mihaila

Lazio have offered Parma €8 million plus add-ons for Romanian forward Valentin Mihaila.

As reported by Italian media outlet SportParma.com earlier today, the 21-year-old Romanian forward caught Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare’s eye during this season’s Coppa Italia clash between Lazio and Parma, with the player impressing throughout this campaign, despite his side’s relegation.

The Roman club have offered the Emilian side €8 million plus add-ons for Mihalia, essentially the same amount paid by president Kyle Krause last summer. The player is willing to sign a contract with Lazio until 2025, with higher wages than what he currently earns at Parma.

Until a few weeks ago, Parma technical director Javier Ribalta did not want the player to be on the market, but Lazio’s latest offer has pushed him to give in and change his mind, allowing Parma to recover from heavy financial investment.

Lazio could also look to include a player in the deal as well, like winger Emanuele Cicerelli, who spent last season on loan with Salernitana.
