Lazio has been linked with multiple wingers over the past couple of weeks, but club officials are now zoning in on West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson.
The Brazilian is well open to rejoining Lazio, especially as he currently faces an uncertain future with the Premier League side. According to a report from the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Anderson is currently awaiting word on whether West Ham will push ahead with sending him off to Lazio.
West Ham remains stern that it wants at least €9 million from any transfer deal for the Brazilian playmaker. From Lazio’s perspective, club president Claudio Lotito stands confident that the club will be able to soon come to terms with the Premier League side for its outcast winger. He is aware that Anderson is willing to lower his wages in order to facilitate this deal, as his yearly salary of over €7 million is way too high for the club.
Anderson has what it takes to play multiple positions on the pitch, so he would be a quality addition for Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 setup next season.
