The first leg of the Primavera 1 TIM playouts ended in a 1-1 draw in Rome, with everything up for grabs in this evening’s match.
Both teams had relatively disastrous regular seasons but in the end, the Rossoblu showed enough character to walk away with their heads held high, leaving the Biancocelesti to lick their wounds in the second division.

Things changed after the break, with the Rossoblu applying consistent pressure before eventually finding the equaliser in the 64th minute, thanks to a penalty calmed scored by Dion Ruffo Luci.
The tension remained until the final whistle, with only 30 minutes of extra time and possibly penalties being the deciding factors.
Both teams had chances in extra time, but Bologna were the more effective, with Matias Rocchi finding the winner in the 105th minute. Despite their best efforts, Lazio were unable to change their fate, and will now be playing in the Primavera 2 next season.
