As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are looking to secure the futures of the duo, with transfer market rumours surrounding Milinkovic-Savic and an expiring contract for Marusic.
The 28-year-old Montenegrin’s contract expires with Lazio next year in 2022 and the club are keen to renew his deal, with his performances and tactical flexibility last season proving key under previous coach Simone Inzaghi.
Regarding Milinkovic-Savic, Juventus and Liverpool are both reportedly interested in signing the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder, but president Claudio Lotito is not willing to discuss a deal worth anything less than €80 million.
The futures of both players will be discussed with Kezman this week, with further developments expected in the coming weeks.
It’s hard to imagine Milinkovic-Savic leaving this summer, with the player being considered unsellable by new coach Maurizio Sarri.
