Lazio Will Open New Talks With West Ham for Felipe Anderson This Week

Lazio will have new talks with West Ham this week regarding a deal for winger Felipe Anderson.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, new coach Maurizio Sarri has given the green light for the 28-year-old Brazilian winger’s arrival, pushing the Biancocelesti’s management to try and close out a deal.

Felipe Anderson’s contract expires with the Hammers next year in 2022 and the East London club have no intention of renewing his contract, hoping to earn at least €8 million from his sale this summer.

New talks will be started between Lazio and West Ham this week, with the Roman club looking to lower the costs a little or secure a loan deal instead. The Brazilian winger is also willing to lower his €4 million salary and spread it over several years.

Considering all of this, a deal is likely not far away but for now cannot be considered closed.
