Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto but the club are not looking to sell.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti star has attracted the attention of Diego Simeone’s side, who are looking for a potential replacement for Saul, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea.

An agreement with Udinese’s Rodrigo De Paul seems to have been reached by Atletico, but in recent hours, Luis Alberto has also been linked with the Spanish side, even if Lazio value the 28-year-old at around €60 million.
Contracted to the Roman club until 2025, Luis Alberto will play a central role in new coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 system, with the player having more attacking freedom under the 62-year-old Italian coach.
Sarri considers Luis Alberto to be unsellable and so it’s hard to imagine the Spaniard leaving the club this summer.
