Lazio defender Luiz Felipe has been linked with a multitude of clubs over the past month for a possible transfer move, but Biancocelesti officials remain set on keeping him.
For one, Lazio has turned down a bid from La Liga side Real Betis for Felipe, as noted by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi. It is not known whether Betis plans to submit a new offer for the Brazilian defender, but for now, Luiz Felipe is staying put with the Biancocelesti.
Lazio has been reported to be interested in signing the promising talent to a contract extension deal, so it remains to be seen whether this will come to fruition over the coming months.
Luiz Felipe is coming off of a notable injury-riddled campaign where he was sidelined for much of the season due to an ankle injury. For now, new Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri will rely on the Brazilian for next season.
