Sampdoria already have a replacement lined up, using 26-year-old Italian shot-stopper Wladimiro Falcone as their number one following on from his strong season on loan with Cosenza.
The 24-year-old Audero made 37 Serie A appearances this season, for a total of 3330 minutes. In that time, he conceded 54 goals, kept six clean sheets and had a save percentage of 71.5, his best ever in a Serie A season.
