Lazio has recently been scouting several South American talents over the past months for possible transfer deals, including Talleres defender Piero Hincapie.
One recent report noted that Lazio has been in advanced talks with the Argentine-based side to sign Hincapie, but it currently remains to be seen whether the Biancocelesti will go all out to secure the talent.

The Ecuadorian defender is currently not sure whether he will continue on with Talleres, especially as he has continued to garner transfer interest from the likes of European sides such as Lazio.
In speaking to the Argentine-based outlet Radio Impacto (via La1913), Hincapie touched on his footballing future at the club level.
For now, I think about Talleres. I cannot promise the fans that I will stay. You never know what will happen…
Hincapie is coming off of a season where the defender totaled for 13 appearances in Copa de la Liga Profesional de Futbol play, including featuring in all 90 minutes of the team’s quarter-final fixture against CA Colon.

For now, Hincapie is looking ahead to the upcoming new season with Talleres.
