Serie B side Chievo Verona is showing an early interest in current Lazio prospect Andrea Marino, according to a report from the Italian-based outlet L’Arena (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).

Newly promoted Serie B side Alessandria is also now being linked with Marino, but it is not known as to whether it plans to take the lead over Chievo Verona for the coveted Biancocelesti talent.

Marino is coming off of a rollercoaster campaign with Lazio Primavera.

While the Italian midfielder was a regular for Lazio Primavera over its lengthy league schedule, the side was relegated following one of its most difficult campaigns in quite a while.

Lazio club officials are well a fan of Marino, who totaled for 35 appearances in all competitions with Lazio Primavera this past season, which included six in the team’s Coppa Primavera final run.

The Italian talent currently has a trio of seasons left on his active contract with the club.
