Lazio’s Tare: “For the New Signings We Are Solving the Problems We Have”

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare looked ahead to the Biancocelesti’s pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore.

Speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference earlier today (via La Lazio Siamo Noi), Tare was excited about this summer’s pre-season training retreat.

I’m very happy to present this new retreat for next season, we thank the municipality of Auronzo, there is a long-standing relationship, which has created incredible enthusiasm for Auronzo and for the fans, who always follow Lazio’s summer adventures with pleasure.

We hope that the new season will be full of joy for all of us.

He touched on if the new signings will be presented in Auronzo or in Rome.

For the new signings we are solving the problems we have before, then I think the team will be strengthened as the need arises.

Finally, Tare spoke about if new coach Maurizio Sarri will be presented in Rome or in Auronzo.

We’re discussing Sarri’s presentation with the president and on Sunday we’ll decide whether to present him at Auronzo or here in Rome.

The Biancocelesti’s pre-season training retreat will start on 10th July and end on 28th, with Sarri excited to meet and work with his new squad.

The 62-year-old Italian coach is a meticulous worker and wants to ensure that his tactical system is firmly imprinted on the players before the start of the new season.

Lazio are also hard at work strengthening the squad, needing to sign wingers and full-backs that fit in Sarri’s 4-3-3 system.

It’s likely that at least one or two players will be signed before the retreat begins next week.
