Lazio will carry out a short pre-season retreat in Germany after their training camp in Auronzo di Cadore this summer.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Biancocelesti will return to Marienfeld in Germany this summer, extending their pre-season preparations for a little longer. They’ve previously worked here in 2014, 2018 and 2019.

The first part of the pre-season training regime will take place in Auronzo di Cadore from 10th to 28th July, with the squad then taking a short break. The team will then depart for Germany on either 1st or 2nd August, where they’ll stay for a week before returning to Rome.

It’s likely that Lazio will play another friendly in Germany, in addition to the four being played in Auronzo di Cadore.
There still has been no official confirmation of this yet, but all signs suggest that coach Maurizio Sarri wants to take his new team to Germany for extra preparations.
