Basic has given his word to Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri and is now sure of a move to the Italian capital, meaning a deal is likely not far away now.

The 24-year-old Basic, who is contracted to Bordeaux until 2022, made 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season, for a total of 2611 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided one assist.
