Turkish side Trabzonspor are interested in signing Lazio full-back Jordan Lukaku.

As reported by Turkish media outlet Sporx earlier today, the Süper Lig side have already opened talks with the Biancocelesti regarding the 26-year-old Belgian left-back, who has returned to Rome from a loan spell with Royal Antwerp.

Coach Maurizio Sarri has the final say, however, and the 62-year-old Italian wants to assess Lukaku during this summer’s pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore. The retreat kicks off on Saturday 10th July this week.

If Sarri decides that the 26-year-old Belgian is not in his plans, then the green light will be given to Trabzonspor, who will look to make an official offer.

The 26-year-old Lukaku, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, made 18 Jupiler Pro League appearances last season for Royal Antwerp, for a total of 1333 minutes. In that time, he provided two assists and showed his defensive abilities.
