Free-agent Elseid Hysaj is currently at the Lazio Lab in Formello, taking medicals before signing for the club.
As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Albanian full-back is currently in Formello undergoing medical tests in the Biancocelesti’s training center, with coach Maurizio Sarri also present.

The announcement of Hysaj was expected for a little later this week, but he could be announced later today should his medicals go according to plan.
The player was specifically requested by Sarri, who knows him well from their time together at both Empoli and Napoli.

The Albanian full-back is currently a free agent after his contract expired with Napoli last week, ending his six-year stay in the Campania capital.
Last season, Hysaj made 24 Serie A appearances for the Partenopei, for a total of 1770 minutes. In that time, he provided two assists, including one against Lazio.
