Lazio and AC Milan are both keen to sign outgoing Atalanta forward Josip Ilicic.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 33-year-old Slovenian forward is set to say goodbye to Bergamo this summer, no longer being a central figure in coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s system.

Atalanta are willing to let Ilicic go should a suitable offer come in, although nothing concrete has arrived so far.

Lazio and AC Milan are the two Serie A clubs interested in signing the 33-year-old Slovenian, with coach Maurizio Sarri a big fan of the former Palermo man, believing him to be an excellent reinforcement for the attack.
Contracted to Atalanta until 2022, Ilicic made 28 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 1526 minutes. In that time, he scored six goals and provided 10 assists, being a strong exciting forward. His playtime began to significantly drop off by the end of the season, missing the last two games entirely.
