Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace has signed a multi-year contract following a meeting with president Claudio Lotito.

As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi last night, the 57-year-old Italian coach had a decisive meeting with president Lotito yesterday, where they decided to move forward together and continue the project with Lazio Women.

Six players have already been signed by Lazio Women in the last few weeks, showing the importance of the project and the desire to perform well in next season’s Serie A.

Since Morace took over, Lazio Women have won eight matches and drawn four, not losing a single time. The 57-year-old Italian coach is hoping to continue the team’s strong performances in the top flight as well.

The length of her new deal is not apparent yet but will become clear with the official announcement.

The Biancocelesti finished at the top of Serie B Women last season, ending four points ahead of runners-up Pomigliano.
