As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are working hard on the transfer market, looking to provide reinforcements to new coach Maurizio Sarri, although the liquidity ratio is still blocking purchases for the time being.
One of the various targets Lazio have is the 25-year-old Julian Brandt, who is contracted to Dortmund until 2024.
Lazio have been in talks with the Bundesliga club for some time now and have recently had some pleasant developments, with Dortmund willing to lower their price tag to around €18-20 million.
This is good news for the Biancocelesti, who hope to make some sales soon before pulling the trigger on multiple deals.
Brandt made 31 Bundesliga appearances last season for Borussia Dortmund, for a total of 1490 minutes. In that time, he scored three goals and provided two assists.
