Lazio star Luis Alberto claims that he is still in Valencia as he’s seeking treatment for an injury.
As reported by Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today, the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder has reportedly told the Biancocelesti’s management that he is in Valencia because he’s undergoing treatment for a physical problem, which is likely to be an ankle issue that has plagued him for months.

Lazio are not convinced by this excuse and they’ll check all his documentation as soon as he arrives in Rome. The club cannot overlook his behaviour and are preparing a hefty fine for him.

Developments are expected soon, with sources close to the player suggesting that he will return to the Italian capital in the coming days.
In the meantime, Sevilla and AC Milan are both interested in signing Luis Alberto, but the Biancocelesti consider him a central part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad, and so will not be easily convinced to sell the Spaniard, whose contract expires in 2025.
