Lazio have signed teenage forward Lorenzo Di Biagio for their Under-17 squad.
As announced on Lazio’s official website earlier today, the Biancocelesti have signed the Italian teenager from local side Sansa, adding him to the U-17 team.
The player is the nephew of former professional midfielder Luigi Di Biagio, who also was a product of Lazio’s youth system.

The Roman club commented on the signing, saying:
A new reinforcement for the Under-17 side of the first team of the capital.
The team led by Massimiliano D’Urso will also be able to count on Lorenzo Di Biagio, a newcomer to the Biancoceleste side next season.
Di Biagio, who comes from Sansa, is a forward who scored 22 goals in 13 games last season.

Lazio’s Under-17 side finished second in their five team Campionato Nazionale Under-17 group last season, having won five of their eight games. They lost out to intercity rivals Roma due to goal difference, with the Giallorossi having a positive GD of +4, compared to Lazio’s +1.
The Biancocelesti lost to Roma twice, as well as Empoli’s U-17 side, meaning that they missed out on the playoffs.
Lazio have a strong youth setup and will be hoping to develop more players for both the Primavera squad and the first team.
