Lazio Star Luis Alberto Will Return to Rome Today & Join Squad in Auronzo di Cadore

Lazio star Luis Alberto will return to Rome today, seven days after the Biancocelesti’s pre-season call-up.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder will meet with president Claudio Lotito and sporting director Igli Tare today in Formello, where he will be given a lecture before being punished with a fine.

Luis Alberto will then undergo medical examinations at the Paideia clinic before leaving for the training retreat in Auronzo di Cadore, where he will meet new coach Maurizio Sarri.

The 62-year-old Italian coach made it clear that everything will be resolved and that this situation can be put in the past.

This also depends on Luis Alberto, on how he’ll behave first with the club and then in the training camp.

Sarri wants to make the 28-year-old Spaniard a focal point of his 4-3-3 system and considers the player unsellable.
