Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto will meet with coach Maurizio Sarri and the rest of the squad today to explain himself.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 28-year-old Spaniard finally arrived at the pre-season training retreat in Auronzo di Cadore yesterday, having failed to show up for his medicals last week in Rome like the rest of the squad.

Today Luis Alberto will finally meet his new coach Sarri, as well as his teammates, who are waiting for an explanation for his absence.
The 28-year-old Spanish midfielder has already asked president Claudio Lotito for a transfer, but at the moment no satisfactory offers have arrived. The Biancocelesti want around €60 million for the former Liverpool man, a high fee in the post-Covid market.

Considering that Luis Alberto is contracted to the Roman club until 2025, Lotito will not let the player leave for any discounts.
