Lazio Thrash Local Side Radio Club 10-0 in First Pre-Season Friendly Under Sarri

Lazio thrashed local side Top 11 Radio Club 103 10-0 in this evening’s pre-season friendly in Auronzo di Cadore.

The Biancocelesti starting 11 for the match was as follows:

Thomas Strakosha; Adam Marusic, Luiz Felipe, Stefan Radu, Elseid Hysaj; Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Danilo Cataldi; Felipe Anderson, Vedat Muriqi, Raul Moro.

Lazio kicked off the friendly at 6:30 pm local time this evening.

After 15 minutes, fan favourite Felipe Anderson opened the scoring, finding the net from the penalty spot to put Lazio 1-0 up.

Only a minute later and Spanish teenager Raul Moro found the second, giving the Roman side a 2-0 lead.

Lazio remained in the driving seat for the remainder of the half, with Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva putting the Biancocelesti 3-0 up after 38 minutes, with Moro providing the assist.

Just before half-time, Kosovan forward Vedat Muriqi found the back of the net after an impressive attacking move. The teams went into the break with Lazio 4-0 up.

At half time, coach Maurizio Sarri changed the squad around a little, with the 11 coming out for the second half being as follows:

Only seven minutes after coming on, Italian full-back Manuel Lazzari found the back of the net, giving Lazio a 5-0 lead.

A surprise goal for Slovakian defender Denis Vavro put the Biancocelesti 6-0 up after 56 minutes, with the Roman side firmly in the driving seat.

Sarri made two more substitutions in the 60th minute, taking off Strakosha and Moro, replacing them with Marius Adamonis and Bobby Adekanye.

Lazio were awarded another penalty in the 63rd minute, won by Ecuadorian forward Felipe Caicedo, who then slotted the ball home from 12 yards.

In the 72nd-minute, star midfielder Luis Alberto dribbled past the goalkeeper and netted a confident goal, putting Lazio 8-0 up.

In the dying minutes of the match, the 32-year-old Caicedo remained dangerous and scored a brace, making Lazio’s lead grow to 9 over Radio Club.

Just before the final whistle, Spanish star Luis Alberto also found his second, securing a 10-0 win for Lazio.
