Lazio Women have officially signed midfielder Signe Holt Andersen from Swedish side Vaxjo DFF.
As announced in an official statement last night, the Biancocelesti signed the 21-year-old Danish attacking midfielder on a two-year contract, strengthening coach Carolina Morace’s squad ahead of next season’s Serie A campaign.

Andersen made 12 Damallsvenskan appearances last season for Vaxjo, playing 1002 minutes in total.
The Danish midfielder started her career with Skovbakken before the club decided to merge with Vejlby IK Fodbold, becoming VSK Aarhus. There she scored 15 goals in 24 Elitedivisionen appearances, impressing with her technical abilities and comfort on the ball.

In 2018 Andersen moved abroad to Sweden to join Vaxjo DFF, where she made her debut in the 14th match of the season. She made eight league appearances that season and scored a brace in the Swedish Cup in a 3-1 away win over Asarum.
Andersen became a consistent starter the following season, playing 21 out of the 22 league matches and scoring five goals in that time.
The 21-year-old Dane ended her time with Vaxjo having scored 12 goals in 62 league appearances.
