As reported by Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 28-year-old Spaniard arrived a week late to the Biancocelesti’s pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore, spending time on holiday with his family in Spain.

Luis Alberto was fined for this behaviour earlier this week when he finally returned to Rome and explained the situation to coach Maurizio Sarri and the squad upon his arrival in Auronzo.

The 28-year-old Spaniard featured in yesterday’s 10-0 friendly win over local side Radio Club, scoring two goals, but his situation still needs to be fully clarified.
