Still No Meeting Yet Between Lazio Star Luis Alberto & Sporting Director Tare

Lazio star Luis Alberto has still not met with sporting director Igli Tare yet, with the situation still unclear.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, it was widely suggested yesterday that the 28-year-old Spaniard would meet with Tare to discuss his future, following his late arrival to the pre-season training camp last week, but a meeting never occurred.

Tare wants Luis Alberto to remain concentrated and work quietly, fully focusing on coach Maurizio Sarri’s movements and tactics.

No offers have arrived yet for the 28-year-old Spanish midfielder, with AC Milan and Villarreal both interested but refusing to pull the trigger. The Biancocelesti are not willing to sell the player for anything less than €45 million, with the player set to be a core part of Sarri’s 4-3-3 system.

Luis Alberto was given a fine and was forced to explain himself to Sarri and the squad following his late arrival to Auronzo di Cadore.
