Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is waiting for the arrivals of Borussia Dortmund‘s Julian Brandt and Bordeaux‘s Toma Basic.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are hoping that the two reinforcements will be available for the upcoming training camp in Marienfeld, which is due to kick off in a few weeks’ time.

Joaquin Correa is the key player that Lazio are selling this summer, which will provide the funds necessary to close out the deals for both Brandt and Basic.
As far as Brandt is concerned, an agreement has already been reached with Borussia Dortmund regarding the deal – a loan with a buy option attached set at €25 million.
Dortmund would like to close out the deal as soon as possible but Lazio are still confident, having already agreed to personal terms with the German winger.

Regarding Basic, it’s a similar situation. Gerard Lopez has been given the green light to become the new president and so the Biancocelesti can look to close out the deal soon.
Lazio will pay €6.5 million plus €2 million in add-ons to Bordeaux, with Basic being given a five-year contract worth around €1.4 million net a season.
