The Lazio squad and staff will undergo their Covid-19 vaccinations starting from tomorrow.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito asked the President of the Veneto region Luca Zaia if it was possible to have the vaccinations in Auronzo di Cadore, which was confirmed by the politician.

Zaia discussed the situation and request, saying:

President Lotito asked us if this was possible. It was a request made even before the introduction of the green pass regulations.

For us it is a duty of hospitality and a pleasure.

Manuel Lazzari and Lucas Leiva have already received their first dose, with the Italian taking it with the Azzurri whilst the former Liverpool midfielder took it in his native Brazil.

Ciro Immobile and Francesco Acerbi have also been vaccinated, taking the jabs ahead of Euro 2020 earlier this summer.
