Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi was happy with the team’s performance in their 5-2 friendly win over Serie C side Triestina.
Speaking in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sportitalia (via LazioNews24) after the match, the 26-year-old Italian midfielder first spoke about the strong first half, which the Roman club finished 4-0.
I saw it from the bench, but we really did great things. We’ve improved a lot in these days.
We’re trying to do what the coach tells us to do.
He commented on the switch from a 3-5-2 formation to a 4-3-3.
The change in formation is obvious. Switching from a three-man defence to a four-man defence is complicated, also because the movements are departmental.
It’s certainly difficult, but we’re working hard.
Finally, Cataldi discussed his future plans.
My goal is to stay at Lazio. There’s no doubt about it.
