Photo: Lazio President Lotito Confirms The Entire Squad Took A Covid-19 Vaccine Today

Lazio president Claudio Lotito confirmed that the entire Biancocelesti squad took a Covid-19 vaccine today.

Speaking in an interview with Italian broadcaster Lazio Style Channel (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti president highlighted the need to take the vaccine.

We have given a signal of civic sense and respect, protecting the health of our players and all those who come into contact with the team.

The initiative came about before Prime Minister Draghi’s appeal, when I contacted the president of the Veneto region to ask him to make the ULSS Belluno available to carry out the vaccination.

Zaia’s response was efficient and very quick, and now our supporters will look back on this initiative with satisfaction.

Lotito then refuted the reports in the newspapers that three or four players were against taking the vaccine.

All false, it is not true that some footballers would not have wanted to undergo vaccination.

Apart from five players who had already been vaccinated, today the whole team, staff and employees were vaccinated.

Below are some photos of Lazio players Luis Alberto, Thomas Strakosha, and Stefan Radu taking the Covid-19 vaccine, as seen on Lazio’s Twitter page.
