Lazio Facing Competition From AC Milan For Borussia Dortmund Winger Brandt

Lazio are facing competition from AC Milan for Borussia Dortmund winger Julian Brandt.

As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare must act fast if he wants to secure the 25-year-old German winger, with the Rossoneri now entering the race for the player.

AC Milan have begun to ask for information about Brandt and may look to insert themselves in the race to secure the 25-year-old, putting Lazio in a difficult situation considering that he is one of the Roman club’s top transfer targets this summer.

The issue in the talks between Lazio and Borussia Dortmund is the terms of the loan deal. The Biancocelesti would like it to be a loan deal with a buy option attached, whilst the Bundesliga side would prefer it to be an obligation to buy clause instead.

Tare hopes to resolve the problem in the coming weeks but now cannot take too much time in case AC Milan pull the trigger first.
