Lazio’s Lotito Considering Creating Second Permanent Training Centre in Auronzo

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is planning to acquire a hotel in Auronzo di Cadore to set up a second permanent training centre.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti president has been working on an exciting idea for a while now, exploring the possibility of acquiring a hotel in the small Dolomite village.

The hotel would become the summer home of the entire club – the first team, the Primavera side and the rest of the youth set-up, and also Lazio Women.

In short, it would become a ‘second’ Formello, another permanent training centre for the Roman club.

The feasibility of this idea needs to be verified from both a logistical and economic point of view, but Lotito is confident.

Developments are expected over the summer as the Biancocelesti president looks to improve the club’s resources as much as possible.

The Lazio first team have consistently hosted their pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore since the summer of 2008.
