Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is still keen to sign Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari but a deal would be tough.
As reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Nerazzurri still need to find a replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who left earlier this transfer window to join Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

The main target currently is Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, but Inter can only look to sign him on a loan deal with a buy option attached, an idea that hasn’t convinced the Gunners. His agent will fly to London to push for the deal regardless.

Inzaghi’s favourite alternative is the 27-year-old Lazzari. The Italian full-back was one of the Italian coach’s favourite players in the Lazio squad, but a deal seems fairly unlikely.
Considering that he’s contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, a significant offer would be needed to convince president Claudio Lotito, who still feels betrayed by the nature of Inzaghi’s departure.
