Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is set to bring a significantly smaller squad to the second training camp in Marienfeld.
As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 62-year-old Italian coach’s Lazio is slowly taking shape, with Sarri now knowing and understanding the players available to him.

The Biancocelesti have just finished their first pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore and are now on a short break before regrouping together in Formello on Saturday.

Three players who will be joining the squad there are Francesco Acerbi, Ciro Immobile and Joaquin Correa, all of whom are returning from extended holidays after their international commitments.
However, Sarri is still set to bring a smaller squad with him to Germany, cutting the players who have failed to fully convinced him. He is also hoping that some new signings will arrive, like Bordeaux midfielder Toma Basic or a new winger.
