Lazio Need to Make Sales Soon as Their New Signings Aren’t Official Yet

Lazio still need to make sales as their new signings cannot be made official yet.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti need to sell some players as their incoming transfer market is currently blocked by the now infamous liquidity ratio.

This situation means that even the Roman club’s new signings cannot be registered yet, meaning the arrivals of Dimitrije Kamenovic, Elseid Hysaj, Felipe Anderson and Luka Romero are not yet official.

The top player who could be sold this summer is Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa, with multiple Premier League clubs as well as Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain all keen on the 26-year-old.

The other players who could realistically leave this summer are all those who returned from their loan spells from Salernitana. Due to the rules of the Campania-based side’s approval to Serie A, no Lazio players can return to the club this summer, meaning they’ll have to be sold to other clubs.

There’s no doubt that selling Correa would immediately unblock everything, but failing that other solutions must be found soon.
