As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, the 20-year-old Italian midfielder has attracted the attention of both Reggina and Serie C side Padova, but the Calabrian based side have the advantage.
Reggina have already agreed to personal terms with Marino’s agent and now just need to sort out a deal with Lazio.
The deal is likely to be a dry loan and the two clubs are likely to open talks soon.
The 20-year-old Marino, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, made 27 Primavera 1 appearances last season, for a total of 2176 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided one assist.
The Biancocelesti still need to find new homes for a variety of players who have returned from various loan spells, as they are not allowed to do any deals with the newly promoted Salernitana due to the rules of the trust.
