The Lazio Primavera squad have begun their pre-season training camp in Celleno.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti Primavera side have started their preparations for next season, following their disappointing relegation from the Primavera 1 TIM league last campaign.

18-year-old Italian midfielder Marco Bertini will join the squad in the next few days, having a short holiday after taking part in the pre-season retreat in Auronzo di Cadore with coach Maurizio Sarri and the first team.

Primavera coach Alessandro Calori is preparing to welcome new arrivals in his staff as well, assistant coach Vinicio Espinal and match analyst Cormac McAinsh, as he looks to guide the team back to the topflight.

Francesco Cioffarelli and Luca Parrino will remain as athletic coaches and Salvatore Schietrona will stay team manager.

The Lazio Primavera squad will continue their pre-season preparations in Celleno for a few weeks ahead of the start of the Primavera 2 season.
